Role Description

This is an on-site, part-time role for an Aquatic Therapist (PT or OT) located in Wilton, CT. The Aquatic Therapist will deliver personalized aquatic therapy and adaptive swim interventions to clients with diverse abilities. They will assess individual needs, implement therapy strategies, and assist in building water safety, sensory integration, and confidence. The role requires regular interaction with clients, documentation of progress, and collaboration with families to ensure positive outcomes in therapy.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Aquatic Therapy or Adaptive Physical Therapy/Occupational Therapy
• Experience working with individuals with sensory, motor, or developmental challenges
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with families and team members
• Comfort in working with children and individuals of all abilities
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain certification)
• A background in water safety and swimming skills is strongly preferred
• Ability to assess, adapt, and implement therapeutic techniques individual to each client’s needs
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, or related fields
• Passion for empowering individuals of all abilities
