As a Retail Sales Associate at Swim and Tri, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while assisting customers in finding the right gear for their competitive needs. This position is based in our Knoxville, TN location and is essential to our mission of supporting swimmers with high-quality products.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers with product selection and inquiries.
- Utilize POS systems to process sales transactions efficiently.
- Maintain stock levels and ensure the sales floor is organized and visually appealing.
- Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits.
- Support upselling efforts by recommending complementary products to enhance customer purchases.
- Assist in training new staff members on store policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
- Familiarity with POS systems for processing transactions.
- Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
