Responsibilities
- Remove and replace damaged or worn auto glass using specialized hand tools and power tools, ensuring precise fitment and secure installation
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify additional repair needs such as auto body damage or mechanical issues
- Install advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) sensors and calibrate them for optimal vehicle safety performance
- Apply window tinting films with attention to detail for enhanced vehicle aesthetics and UV protection
- Utilize auto estimating software to accurately assess repair requirements and communicate with insurance providers when necessary
- Perform vehicle maintenance tasks including minor repairs, assembly, detailing, and ensuring overall vehicle readiness
- Handle heavy lifting safely when working with large or cumbersome glass panels and equipment, following proper safety protocols
Qualifications
- Prior dealership experience or background in automotive repair is highly preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and auto body repair techniques
- Familiarity with auto glass installation, assembly processes, and vehicle maintenance procedures
- Knowledge of ADAS technology, calibration procedures, and auto estimating software is a plus
- Experience with window tinting and auto body detailing enhances your candidacy
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during installations or repairs
