At Toyota 101, the parts department keeps a high-volume service operation running -- and the shipping and receiving function is what keeps that department stocked, accurate, and ready. The Parts Support Specialist is the person behind the scenes making sure every part that comes in is checked, processed, and in the right place before anyone needs it.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Receive incoming parts shipments -- inspecting for accuracy and damage, verifying against purchase orders, and processing inventory into the DMS promptly and accurately
• Unpack, label, and stock parts into the correct bin locations -- maintaining a clean, organized, and accurate warehouse
• Prepare and ship outgoing parts orders -- packaging, labeling, and coordinating with carriers to ensure on-time, accurate delivery
• Reconcile received orders against invoices and flag discrepancies to the parts manager
• Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory checks to maintain inventory accuracy
• Support the parts counter team with pulling, staging, and delivering parts to technicians and advisors as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the receiving area, warehouse, and parts storage throughout every shift
• Support additional parts department duties as directed
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or parts experience preferred -- automotive dealership experience a strong plus
• Accurate and detail-oriented -- receiving errors create problems downstream and you understand that
• Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs or more and staying active throughout the shift
• Comfortable with basic computer systems for inventory processing and order reconciliation
• Organized and methodical -- you have a system and you work it consistently
• Reliable and punctual -- the parts department and the service team depend on receiving being done right and on time
• Able to work independently and as part of a team without losing accuracy or pace
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
