What are the responsibilities and job description for the Performance Physical Therapist position at SWELL Physical Therapy & Performance?
SWELL Physical Therapy & Performance is growing and we’re looking for a top-tier, performance-driven Physical Therapist who wants to provide amazing care to our clients and advance their career to the next level.
We’re a private pay, one-on-one practice specializing in helping active adults, runners, and other athletes get out of pain, move better, and reach their full potential. This is not a high-volume clinic. You’ll have the time, autonomy, and support to use your full array of skills and deliver world-class care without feeling burnt out.
What You’ll Do:
- Evaluate and treat active adults and athletes in 1-on-1 sessions
- Analyze and optimize movement patterns, running gait, and training programs
- Create and execute individualized rehab and performance plans
- Use a mix of manual therapy, dry needling, corrective exercises, training, education, and coaching to achieve real results for your clients
- Build relationships with clients and be part of their long-term wellness and performance journey
What We’re Looking For:
- DPT with an active FL license (required)
- Dry Needling certified (required)
- Passion for working with active populations (runners, lifters, athletes, etc)
- Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
- Interest in performance, not just rehab (CSCS, SCS, or OCS preferred)
- Growth mindset and eagerness to learn
- Desire to be an active part of our community and strive to optimize patient outcomes and experience
