Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, following established recipes and standards.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Greet customers warmly, take orders, and serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring excellent customer service.
- Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, give correct change, and balance cash drawers at the end of shifts.
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area by regularly cleaning counters, equipment, and dining spaces in accordance with food safety standards.
- Assist with food handling and preparation tasks to ensure quality and safety of all menu items.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers quickly while maintaining high standards of service.
Qualifications
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction processing.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities seamlessly.
