Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea is a premium coffeehouse with over 33 years of crafting high-quality drinks and snacks from real ingredients. Our Craig Ranch location has been a welcoming community hub for McKinney, Frisco, Allen, and Plano for 6 years. We’re looking for passionate, reliable, and outgoing baristas to join our team and help create memorable guest experiences!

Position Overview:
As a Barista at Sweetwaters, you’ll be the heart of our cafe, serving exceptional coffee, tea, and snacks while building connections with guests and supporting our business goals. We’re seeking high school graduates who are dependable, enthusiastic, and eager to grow with us. If you love quality beverages and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Deliver friendly, efficient, and accurate service to ensure every guest leaves happy.
• Prepare coffee, tea, and espresso drinks per Sweetwaters’ high standards.
• Recommend menu items and specials to enhance guest experiences and drive sales.
• Collaborate with the team to meet sales goals and share ideas to improve operations.
• Keep the cafe clean, organized, and inviting.
• Handle cash and transactions while following food safety protocols.
• Stay knowledgeable about our menu to provide confident recommendations.

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent required (please include graduation details in your application).
• Proven track record of reliable employment (1–2 years in customer service, retail, or food service preferred; references required).
• Outgoing and approachable, with a knack for connecting with guests and teammates.
• Passion for coffee, tea, or high-quality food and drinks.
• Adaptable and positive in a fast-paced environment.
• Honest, dependable, and committed to delivering your best every shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and hold a current Food Handlers Certificate (we’ll provide training if needed
• Food Manager Certificate a plus
• Available for shifts between 6 am – 5 pm weekdays, with some weekend flexibility.
• Reliable commute to McKinney, TX 75070.
• Previous barista or customer service experience is a bonus, but we’ll train the right candidate.

Job Details:

• Hours: 20–35 hours per week, with shifts starting as early as 6 am.
• Pay: $12.50–$15.00/hour, based on experience.
