Requirements / Qualifications
Education/Experience: Master’s degree from an accredited university and/or college with major coursework in social work, psychology, counseling or a closely related field. One (1) year of experience in the behavioral health plan process (direct services, treatment plans, monitoring of progress, and termination of services), including experience providing mental health services to special education students. Bilingual (English/Spanish) desirable. Experience with students in grades K-12 in a public school setting in special education and/or students in foster care or experiencing homelessness. Certificates & Licenses: Valid Registration as Marriage Family Therapist Intern (MFTI), or Valid Registration as Clinical Social Worker Intern (MSW), or Valid Associate Professional Clinical Counselor License Must be License Eligible with valid Registration Valid California Driver’s License and Evidence of Insurability Application Materials Required: Resume Three (3) Letters of Reference/Recommendation Copy of transcript(s) verifying college level coursework and/or degree All external and substitute applicants must attach the following with their application: Current Resume Three (3) letters of recommendation and/or three (3) Classified Reference forms dated within the last two years; all letters must be dated Copy of transcript(s) verifying college level coursework and/or degree Note: All required certifications listed on the job posting must be uploaded to the application; no exceptions. *Internal applicants require a current resume and a copy of transcript(s) verifying college level coursework and/or degree.
