Requirements / Qualifications
Education/Experience: Any combination equivalent to graduation from High School and some experience using suctioning and tube feeding equipment. Required License: Valid registration as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in the State of California, including requirement for administration of prescribed medication. Required Certifications/Documents: CPR Certificate issued by an authorized agency. (some positions in this class may require a valid Food Handler's Certificate issued by the San Diego County Department of Health Services.) Application Materials Required: Resume Three (3) Letters of Reference/Recommendation Copy of transcript(s) verifying college level coursework and/or degree All external and substitute applicants must attach the following with their application: Current Resume Three (3) letters of recommendation and/or three (3) Classified Reference forms dated within the last two years; all letters must be dated Copy of transcript(s) verifying college level coursework and/or degree Note: All required certifications listed on the job posting must be uploaded to the application; no exceptions. *Internal applicants require a current resume and a copy of transcript(s) verifying college level coursework and/or degree.
