Requirements / Qualifications
Education/Experience: Any combination equivalent to High School diploma or equivalent and one year of job related experience. Certificate(s) Required: Certification by the National Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) or equivalent, OR Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA) at Level 4.5 or above, OR Education Sign Skills Evaluation-Intrepreting/Receptive (ESSE-I/R) at Level 4.5 or above, OR National Assoc. of the Deaf/American Consortiumof Certified Interpreters (NAD/ACCI) at Level 4.5 or above. Required License: Valid California Driver's License Required Exam: Must pass the SUHSD Insructional Assistant profieciency exam or have completed 48 college credits. Application Materials Required: Resume Three (3) Letters of Reference/Recommendation *All external and substitute applicants must attach the following with their application: Current Resume Three (3) letters of recommendation and/or three (3) Classified Reference forms dated within the last two years; all letters must be dated. **Internal applicants require a current resume and are highly encouraged to submit three (3) current letters of recommendation and/or three (3) Classified Reference Forms*
