Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality Tier 1 reading instruction aligned to state standards
- Implement structured literacy practices, including explicit phonics instruction
- Use formative and summative assessment data to guide instruction and interventions
- Participate actively in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs)
- Differentiate instruction to support all learners, including struggling readers and advanced students
- Build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues
- Maintain a safe, engaging, and literacy-rich classroom environment
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- Valid Texas teaching certification (Core Subjects EC6 preferred)
- Strong knowledge of early literacy development and the science of reading
- Experience with data-driven instruction and intervention strategies preferred
