Responsibilities
- Supervise front desk staff, providing training, mentorship, and performance feedback to ensure top-tier guest service.
- Manage guest reservations using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar platforms, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and prompt problem-solving skills.
- Oversee night audit procedures, reconciling daily financial transactions and preparing reports for management review.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and security teams to address guest needs and maintain property standards.
- Implement hotel emergency procedures swiftly and effectively in case of incidents or safety concerns.
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette across multi-line phone systems, ensuring clear communication with guests and clients at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations, with a strong understanding of hotel management principles.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guest populations effectively.
- Familiarity with hospitality reservation systems such as OPERA or equivalent property management software (PMS).
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence.
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures, night audit processes, and front desk operations.
- Strong communication skills, including phone communication and client interaction, combined with professional phone etiquette.
- Ability to manage multi-line phone systems efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
- Previous resort experience or hotel experience emphasizing guest services is preferred.
