What are the responsibilities and job description for the PC Support Specialist position at Sweetwater County Government?
- PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:** To provide for the deployment, management, operation, and maintenance of the County Information Technology systems.
- PC Support Specialist I: Entry Level
- PC Support Specialist II: Fully Functional
- Analyze and troubleshoot computer, printer, server and network problems Assist with repair of computer, printer and server hardware and software.
- Support end users and manage helpdesk tickets
- Perform hardware and software upgrades as necessary.
- Install, configure, maintain and dispose of County technology systems and services
- Assist in maintaining a countywide software and hardware inventory.
- Assist with projects and assignments for Information Technology.
- Maintain systems logs and records.
- Attend training seminars and in-service programs as requested by supervisor.
- Evaluate hardware and software used to provide information services.
- Assist staff with training where required.
- Participate in County staff development programs.
