Responsibilities
- Develop detailed construction drawings, schematics, and construction detail documentation using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, or SolidWorks.
- Create accurate 3D CAD models
- Perform building code analysis and ensure all designs meet local building regulations and standards for code compliance.
- Utilize Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools to coordinate project data, facilitate clash detection, and streamline construction workflows.
- Assist in system design and interior design tasks by producing detailed drawings for mechanical systems, interior layouts, and graphic presentations.
- Support the development of schematics and conceptual designs through drafting and graphic design skills.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to review plans, resolve design issues, and ensure construction accuracy.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, or SolidWorks.
- Knowledge of building code analysis and building information modeling (BIM) tools for project coordination.
- Experience in construction detail documentation and schematic development.
- Familiarity with mechanical design, interior design concepts, system design, and graphic presentation techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with a keen eye for detail; ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
