Overview
We are seeking an energetic and friendly Parking Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for guests arriving at our property, ensuring smooth parking operations and delivering outstanding customer service. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a positive experience for all visitors.
Duties
- Operate manual handling tasks such as lifting and maneuvering parking cones or equipment safely
- Drive guest vehicles to designated parking areas, ensuring careful handling at all times
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties for parking fees, accurately processing transactions
- Provide clear communication to guests regarding parking procedures and directions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the parking area, including fencing and signage checks
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to equipment or supplies as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in valet parking, customer service, or dealership environment is preferred, good driving record
- Ability to operate a vehicle safely and confidently in various conditions
- Strong manual handling skills with physical stamina for heavy lifting tasks
- Good numeracy skills for cash handling and retail math calculations
- Excellent communication skills, including bilingual abilities are a plus
- Basic understanding of cashiering procedures and customer service principles
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions with a positive attitude
