Responsible for various tasks, including overseeing the day-to-day operations of the dispensary, and ensuring compliance with Connecticut's Department of Consumer Protection rules and regulations. The Dispensary Manager contributes directly to the success of our Sweetspot initiatives. If you're passionate about providing high quality products to our customers, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, we invite you to join our team and be part of our mission to redefine the cannabis experience.The Role:Hire, train, and manage a dispensary teamWork in tandem with our head Pharmacist to ensure strict adherence to dispensing policies and regulations.Develop, implement and train all staff on Standard Operating Procedures in accordance with regulations and Sweetspot standards.Manage and oversee compliant inventory control measures and conduct weekly audits. Follow all existing inventory and inspection procedures to ensure full compliance in performing essential job functions.Maintain an intimate knowledge of all aspects of the dispensary and provide staff support when issues arise. Report weekly profit and loss reports comparing reporting data to actual cash receipts.Work with the accounting team for daily maintenance of financial accounts.Maintain daily receipts, expenses, and reporting.Analyze and report findings on key performance indicators.Proper processing and filing of Invoices, manifests, and vendor licensing.Report city and state sales tax according to state regulation.Work in tandem with marketing to create discounts, schedule and plan events, and do community outreach.Qualities We Value:Someone who holds themselves to a high standard of compliance.Wants to help manage and develop staff into future leaders in the dispensary.Cares about working with local vendors and businesses.An ability to deescalate potential tense situations.Someone who has an understanding of the CT cannabis industry.A strong attention to detail.What You Bring:3-5 years of experience managing staff, handling budgets and general operations knowledge.Demonstrated ability to create and modify SOPs.Ability to handle interpersonal relationships and solve conflicts between employees.Ability to demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:Personnel managementInventory ManagementDevelopment and implementation of quality control measuresProblem-solvingPhysical ability to walk back and forth across the facility and lift/move up to 50 lbs if necessary.Must be 21 or older.Benefits & Perks:During the interview, we'll discuss additional perks and benefits.
