The Dispensary Advisor is responsible for assisting customers, inputting new patient information, receiving and completing orders, receiving payments from customers and operating and inputting into the point-of-sale system. They will assist customers in product selection utilizing their knowledge about current cannabis product inventory with excellent customer service. They will conduct all functions in accordance with state regulations & company policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
CORE JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create and process customer orders.
- Welcome new customers, input customer data into system, and provide them with information on the dispensary
- Receive payments from customers.
- Operate and input sales into the point-of-sale system.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions,customer data, including identification.
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide accurate information regarding cannabis products, escalating questions properly if further assistance needed.
- Follow and adhere to full compliance with the dispensing operations policies and procedures.
- Follow system of internal controls for cash handling and accounting functions.
- Follow cash security measures.
- Maintain a neat and organized retail floor as set forth by the Dispensary Manager.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Sales experience and customer service experience preferred
- Must be 21 or older
- Be able to be on your feet for extended periods of time and lift/move up to 50lbs if necessary
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
