Position: Seasonal Floral Studio Assistant (August–December 2026)

Pay: $14.00/hour with 10% raise after 1 month (trial and training period)

Start Date: No later than September 9th

Location: Home-based floral studio in Hollywood, South Carolina

Schedule: 20 hours per week (Monday–Thursday, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm in studio, with occasional nights/weekends for on-site wedding assistance)

About the Role: We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Seasonal Floral Studio Assistant to support our design team during one of our most exciting times of the year. This entry-level position is ideal for someone who enjoys task-based duties and will find gratification in bringing a full-service & flourishing floral event to life. Key Responsibilities:

• Prep and organize vases, candles, other hard goods to ensure smooth event production each week
• Unpack and prep fresh flower shipments (removing leaves, cut stems, hydrate, proper care of delicate blooms)
• Clean vases, floral buckets, candles, work van weekly
• Keep the studio clean, tidy, and efficient daily
• Repurpose flowers after events and assist with delivery for flower donations
• Occasionally assist with wedding/event set-up and breakdowns

About Us: Sweetleaf Floral is a home-based floral design studio specializing in weddings and large-scale events throughout the Lowcountry. From timeless Southern romance to sleek, modern elegance, we’ve brought creative, custom floral designs to life for our clients for over eight years. We pride ourselves on providing our clients a service that surpasses their expectations through our positivity, care and thorough attention to detail. In order to maximize the amount of joy that flowers can provide, we take pride in being able to extend the life of any leftover wedding florals to local schools, nursing homes, senior centers, group & foster homes.

What We’re Looking For:

• No prior floral experience is needed, just bring your enthusiasm and reliability, and we’ll teach you the rest!
• Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs
• A valid driver’s license for delivery help
• Must be willing to submit to a South Carolina criminal background check
• Flexible availability, including some nights/weekends
• Preference given to candidates local to Hollywood, SC or immediate surrounding areas
• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and jump in wherever needed
• Able to manage time effectively and multitask
• Able to work independently or as part of a team
