In this role, you’ll assist with preparing prescriptions, and supporting a smooth, accurate, and friendly pharmacy experience. What You’ll Do
- Process prescriptions, handle insurance claims, and assist with patient questions.
- Maintain inventory, receive shipments, and track lot numbers and expiration dates.
- Ensure compliance with SC Board of Pharmacy, HIPAA, and DEA regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service with empathy and professionalism.
Required:
- Active South Carolina State Certified Pharmacy Technician registration, or a technician registration that's willing to get state certified within 6 months of start date
- National certification (PTCB or NHA).
- Completion of Board-approved training and 1,000 hours of supervised pharmacy experience.
- Knowledge of compounding processes or willingness to learn.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in a compounding pharmacy.
- Familiarity with pharmacy software (e.g., PioneerRx).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
