Assistant Manager Restaurant

Hilton Head Island sweetFrog is looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our team. This position will assist in the daily operations and management of the Hilton Head Island store. The position will report to the General Manager. Qualified candidates will have experience in restaurant operations, prior manager experience, and the ability to work effectively in a fast paced, customer-centered environment, and live on Hilton Head Island or Bluffton. This position will work a combination of weekdays, weeknights and weekends. Pay range includes base pay and tips.

Job responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing inventory levels, avoiding waste and timing of orders based on projected consumer demand.
• Assist in managing employees.
• Coach and train team members for success.
• Maintains product quality and cleanliness of stores, customer experience and up sale of retail items.
• Will rotate responsibility for driving to the bank for deposits and change orders.
• Opening and Closing of the store and all duties associated with this.
• Handling cash correctly for deposits.
• Assist with food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a quick service fast food restaurant or similar environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary standards.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact positively with customers and team members.
• Must have a driver's license.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
