We are a friendly, privately owned small animal veterinary clinic dedicated to providing compassionate care for pets and exceptional service to their families. We are seeking a Bilingual Veterinary Receptionist (English/Spanish) to be the welcoming face of our practice and help us better serve our diverse community.
Position Summary
The Veterinary Receptionist is responsible for creating a positive experience for clients and patients from the moment they walk through our doors or call our clinic. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients and patients with warmth and professionalism
- Answer multi-line phone systems and schedule appointments
- Communicate effectively with English- and Spanish-speaking clients
- Check patients in and out for appointments and procedures
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Manage medical records and client information
- Coordinate prescription refill requests and client communications
- Assist with administrative tasks and daily clinic operations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
- Support veterinarians and staff by facilitating smooth client flow
Qualifications
- Fluent in both English and Spanish
- Previous customer service experience required
- Veterinary, medical, or reception experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Comfortable working with computers, phone systems, and scheduling software
- Ability to remain calm and compassionate in emotionally challenging situations
- Dependable, professional, and team-oriented

Schedule
- Full-Time (Hours: Monday-Thursday from 8:00-12:00 and 1:00-5:00; Friday from 8:00-12:00; Closed Saturday/Sunday).
- Some flexibility may be required based on clinic needs
