Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products that meet their needs, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette when engaging remotely.
• Conduct engaging product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customer interest and upselling opportunities.
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and basic math calculations to ensure smooth checkout processes.
• Maintain organized merchandising displays that attract customers and promote featured products effectively.
• Restock shelves and manage inventory by stocking new merchandise promptly while keeping the sales floor tidy and inviting.
• Assist with inventory management tasks such as stock counts and product rotation to optimize sales potential.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
• Support team members with supervising responsibilities when needed, fostering a collaborative store environment.
• Participate in promotional activities like upselling and product demos to maximize sales opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with store policies and safety procedures at all times.

Experience

• Previous retail sales experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
• Bilingual skills are highly valued to connect with a diverse customer base effectively.
• Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and retail math enhances your ability to perform confidently in this role.
• Experience in grocery stores or similar retail environments is a plus, especially in merchandising, stocking, and customer service roles.
• Demonstrated communication skills—both verbal and written—are essential for engaging with customers and team members alike.
