Barista/Bakery Team Member

At Sweet Themes Bakery, we’re looking for an experienced Barista/Bakery Team Member to join our team and help bring sweetness to every occasion. As a Barista/Bakery Team Member, you’ll play a key role in delivering the Sweet Themes Bakery experience. Your responsibilities will include:

• Crafting delicious coffee and espresso beverages with precision and care.
• Creating non-coffee based drinks and brewing teas.
• Assisting customers in selecting their perfect treats and ensuring they leave with a smile.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment in the bakery and coffee area.
• Handling transactions efficiently and accurately at the register.
• Collaborating with the team to ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional service.
• Supporting the bakery team with light prep work and packaging as needed.

We’re seeking a team member who brings enthusiasm, professionalism, and a love for all things sweet. To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a bakery or coffee shop setting. Applicants with less than 3 years of espresso-based drink experience will likely not be considered.
• Strong customer service skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
• The ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for coffee, baked goods, and creating delightful experiences for customers.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures, recipes, and policies in accordance with company guidelines, applicable state and federal laws & regulations, and public health food safety standards.
