Ice Cream Event Driver / Server

Location: Richmond, VA

We are seeking a reliable and energetic Ice Cream Event Driver / Server to safely transport and operate our mobile ice cream unit while delivering outstanding customer service at in-store and off-site events. This role combines driving responsibilities for the work crew, event setup and breakdown, and hands-on dessert service in a fast-paced, fun environment. The ideal candidate is 21 , has a valid driver’s license, enjoys working with people, and thrives in outdoor and event settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a friendly and professional attitude
• Scoop and serve ice cream and specialty desserts efficiently and accurately
• Explain menu items and make recommendations to enhance the guest experience
• Operate POS system and process transactions accurately
• Maintain cleanliness of serving areas, equipment, and workspaces
• Restock inventory and monitor product levels throughout shifts
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
• Transport team members to and from event locations
• Follow instructions from management and event coordinators as assigned
• Safely drive and company ice cream trailer to and from events
• Load, transport, and properly secure equipment and inventory
• Set up equipment and serving stations within required timeframes
• Maintain proper food storage and serving temperatures during service
• Deliver exceptional customer service at festivals and private events
• Break down, clean, and properly secure all equipment after events
• Assist with post-event inventory counts and restocking procedures

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50–60 lbs regularly
• Ability to stand and/or kneel for extended periods
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Knowledge of safety procedures and ability to secure and transport trailer loads
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Weekend and evening availability required instore and at events
