What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Manager Retail position at Sweet Shoppe Candy Store?
We are looking for an enthusiastic, outgoing and hard working individual who can work well under pressure. The successful candidate will assist the Manager in directing the manufacturing of store made product and in maintaining an outstanding customer experience!
We make most of our product from scratch so our team members are involved in the manufacturing and sales of our products.
Some of the responsibilities of the Assistant Manager are:
- Training and developing new employees.
- Resolving customer issues to their overall satisfaction.
- Providing leadership and direction to all employees.
- Ensuring product quality and availability.
- Working closely with the store manager to lead staff.
- Assist in inventory management.
- Assisting customers whenever necessary.
- Ensuring a consistent standard of customer service.
- Motivating employees and ensuring a focus on the mission.
- Maintaining merchandise.
- Completing tasks assigned by the general manager accurately and efficiently.
- Supporting store manager as needed.

- High school or equivalent
