Responsibilities
- Decorate cake bites, chocolates, and baked goods with intricate designs using various chocolate techniques and tools
- Prepare and assemble baked items, ensuring consistency with recipes and quality standards
- Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, tempering machines, and decorating tools safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to adhere to food safety standards and ensure a hygienic environment
- Package finished products carefully for shipment or display, ensuring presentation meets company standards
- Assist in chocolate preparation, assembly, and other food preparation tasks as needed during high-volume production periods
- Follow recipes precisely while adhering to food safety management protocols and food handling regulations
Requirements
- Proven experience in cake decorating, pastry preparation, or food production within a bakery or culinary setting
- Knowledge of baking processes, including working with baked goods and confectionery items like chocolates
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, tempering machines, and decorating tools confidently
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately and managing portion sizes
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure recipe adherence and product consistency
- Experience in high-volume production environments within the food industry is preferred
- Commitment to food safety practices, including proper food handling and workspace sanitation
