Duties
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges
- Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and provide product information with enthusiasm
- Assist with product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities
- Maintain clean and organized merchandising displays to enhance product visibility
- Stock shelves and manage inventory levels to ensure product availability
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and cash handling procedures with precision
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via online inquiries
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering preferred; supervisory experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills in both English and bilingual abilities are highly desirable
- Knowledge of POS systems and basic retail math for accurate transactions
- Ability to perform cashiering duties efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service
- Experience in grocery store or retail environments is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products and conduct engaging product demos
- Excellent phone etiquette, merchandising skills, and attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours as needed
