Operations Engineer Brooklyn, NY
- Apply statistical methods and perform mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, staff requirements, and production standards.
- Design and manage production process workflow that maximize efficiency and reduce waste. Prepare material and equipment lists, purchase orders, cost analyses, and estimated production costs.
- Develop and implement process improvements and technological upgrades. Analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine standards and establish quality and reliability objectives of finished products.
- Direct and mange vendors that are engaged in product measurement, inspection, and testing activities to ensure quality control and reliability.
- Travel to production facilities overseas to train staff in new processes and provide instructions and manuals. ensure workflow and quality control measures are implemented as designed.
- Manage the supply chain of the products both internationally and domestically, recommend and implement changes of cost and time effective solutions. REQUIREMENTS ARE:Master’s degree or its equivalent in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline and 2 years of Supply Chain and Logistics Management experience.
