What are the responsibilities and job description for the Beekeeper position at Sweet River Company, LLC?
All aspects of commercial honey production. Service equipment, repair and build new hives, as well as blend hives with newcombs. Feed, medicate and care for bee colonies. Move hives to and from various field locations for top honeyproduction. Monitor and maintain healthy bee colonies. Extract and package honey and other bee byproducts. Cleanup and sanitize plant. Prepare all bee hives to be shipped out of state at the close of the season.
