Shift Leader

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Shift Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing daily operations, ensuring exceptional service, and leading a team of staff members in a fast-paced environment. Duties

• Oversee daily operations during assigned shifts, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Manage staff performance, providing guidance and support to team members.
• Train new employees on food preparation, safety protocols, and customer service standards.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist in scheduling staff shifts and managing labor costs effectively.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during service.
• Collaborate with management to implement training development programs for staff.

Experience Preferred/Required:

• 2 years work experience in restaurant management or similar role in the hospitality industry.
• High School degree or equivalent preferred.
• 21 years of age preferred.
• Customer Service: A friendly, relaxing demeanor, courteousness and quick service to help get repeat customers.
• Stamina: Long, busy days on your feet.
• Teamwork: Restaurant Shift Leaders are part of a team. You will be working with others to make a great dining experience. Being a team player is essential.
• Leadership Skills: Restaurant shift leaders will have to keep employees motivated, resolve conflicts and make hard decisions.
• Technology: Knowledge of restaurant software and ability to report to corporate accounting as prescribed.
• Multitask: Perform a variety of tasks - a certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
• Certifications: Manager and TABC.
• Must be able to lift approximately 40 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
