We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Shift Leader to join our team. Duties
- Oversee daily operations during assigned shifts, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Manage staff performance, providing guidance and support to team members.
- Train new employees on food preparation, safety protocols, and customer service standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist in scheduling staff shifts and managing labor costs effectively.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during service.
- Collaborate with management to implement training development programs for staff.
Experience Preferred/Required:
- 2 years work experience in restaurant management or similar role in the hospitality industry.
- High School degree or equivalent preferred.
- 21 years of age preferred.
- Customer Service: A friendly, relaxing demeanor, courteousness and quick service to help get repeat customers.
- Stamina: Long, busy days on your feet.
- Teamwork: Restaurant Shift Leaders are part of a team. You will be working with others to make a great dining experience. Being a team player is essential.
- Leadership Skills: Restaurant shift leaders will have to keep employees motivated, resolve conflicts and make hard decisions.
- Technology: Knowledge of restaurant software and ability to report to corporate accounting as prescribed.
- Multitask: Perform a variety of tasks - a certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
- Certifications: Manager and TABC.
- Must be able to lift approximately 40 pounds.
