Functional for the Family

Pediatric occupational therapists develop deep rooted relationships with the children and families that we see. We are instrumental in guiding families along the paths of success as they support their children in achieving maximal therapeutic and developmental outcomes. At Sweet Magnolia Speech Therapy, PLLC, it is imperative that we strive to understand family dynamics and ensure all that we do is functional for the family. This takes commitment, patience, flexibility, advocacy, passion, and a drive to continue learning.

Commitment to Excellence

All occupational therapists at Sweet Magnolia Speech Therapy, PLLC are required to pursue continuing education targeting one of our major specialty areas: Sensory Integration, Feeding, Fine & Gross Motor, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Occupational Therapists are allotted a budget for these courses; however, they are also encouraged to pursue continuing education independently.

  • Full-Time (minimum requirement of 24 direct client contact hours a week. Flexible maximum; however, caseload growth is cautioned due to concerns of burnout and maintaining work-life balance.)

Qualifications

  • North Carolina license to practice Occupational Therapy
  • NBCOT
  • Independence, Empathy, Compassion, Patience, Drive, Receptive to Feedback, Collaborative, Insightful, etc.

  • Pay-Per-Visit: $50-60 per billable hour and $104 per evaluation

  • Monday-Thursday Schedule with Intermittent Occupational Therapist-Selected Fridays for Make Ups or Evaluations - Part-Time includes a select 3 days from the Monday-Thursday scheduling.
