Looking for a dependable job where you can work independently, stay active, and earn consistent weekly pay? Sweet Home Express is hiring Full-Time Delivery Drivers to join our FedEx Ground team in Birmingham!
No CDL required and paid training is provided.
Delivery experience is a plus, but it isn't required. Experience with Amazon, DoorDash, Uber, Lyft, courier services, landscaping, construction, warehouse work, or other physically active jobs can be a great fit for this position.
Pay
- $600–$1,200 per week
- Training Pay: $120/day
- $500 Sign-On Bonus paid after 90 days of employment

Schedule

What You'll Do
As a FedEx Ground Delivery Driver, you'll operate a company-provided vehicle and deliver packages to residential and business customers throughout the local service area.
Responsibilities include:
- Safely operating a company-provided delivery vehicle
- Delivering and picking up packages
- Loading, unloading, and organizing packages
- Using a handheld scanner to manage deliveries and pickups
- Following assigned delivery routes safely and efficiently
- Providing professional customer service
- Performing daily vehicle inspections
- Following DOT, FedEx, and company safety procedures
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license
- At least 1 year of driving experience within the last 3 years
- Driving experience may include Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, Amazon, courier, delivery, or similar driving experience
- Must pass a DOT Physical
- Must pass a Drug Test
- Must pass a Background Check
- Able to lift and maneuver packages weighing up to 150 lbs. with appropriate equipment
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable, safety-focused, and able to maintain reliable attendance
Preferred Experience
Previous experience in any of the following is a plus:
- FedEx, UPS, Amazon, or other delivery services
- Courier or route delivery
- Box trucks, step vans, or commercial vehicles
- Rideshare or food delivery
- Landscaping, construction, warehouse, or other physically active work
- Customer service
No CDL Required!
