- Ability to work well with children;
- Supervises students on bus;
- Maintains order and ensures the safety of children on bus routes;
- Walks students across the street for purposes of boarding or disembarking the school bus at assigned stops; and
- The bus monitor, at all times, must be concerned about the safe behavior of children while the bus is in transit.
