Job Purpose Summary
The Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations while providing leadership and direction to the store team. This role ensures a customer-focused, compliant, and efficient environment, driving sales, KPIs, and operational excellence. As part of the management team, the Supervisor will provide coverage across all store areas as needed, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, regulatory compliance, and an optimal customer experience.
Essential Job Duties
Operational Responsibilities

Oversee and execute all operational initiatives to ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly and align with business objectives.

Ensure inventory protocols are followed according to Sweet Flower policy, procedures, and Metrc seed-to-sale tracking system.

Manage the product-receiving process and ensure accuracy in the POS system and online menus, including markdowns, promotions, discounts, product details, and images.

Liaise with corporate buyers regarding sell-through, re-orders, vendor compliance, and order management.

Maintain compliance documents and records according to company policies.

Perform recurring audits to ensure all systems (POS, Metrc, etc.) reflect accurate inventory quantities.

Oversee customer deliveries to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.

Train, develop, and coach inventory and store associates.

Maintain inventory rooms and back-of-house areas to company standards.
Customer Service & Team Leadership

Lead, motivate, and build strong teams that create a welcoming and professional environment for customers.

Foster a culture where the customer is central to every decision and action.

Monitor and address underperforming metrics, developing strategies to improve sales, KPI’s, and operational efficiency.

Partner with the Store Manager to maximize store volume and profit through effective staffing, superb customer service, and attention to detail.

Uphold service, merchandising, and operational standards.

Handle customer complaints and returns professionally, escalating when necessary, with a focus on retention.

Lead team engagement initiatives, including training, recognition, coaching, and retention efforts.

Promote product knowledge to drive sales and ensure excellent customer experiences.
Compliance & Safety

Ensure all team members comply with BCC regulations and company inventory control procedures.

Maintain high standards of store organization, cleanliness, safety, and visual presentation.

Oversee adherence to loss prevention, product waste, and vendor delivery procedures.

Qualifications

Must be 21 years of age or older.

Minimum 2–3 years of retail, customer service, or operations experience.

Hands-on experience with Metrc and BCC compliance procedures.

Strong analytical skills to assess data and develop operational strategies.

Ability to work well on a team and lead others effectively.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 30 lbs., and perform other active job functions.
Working Environment
This role operates in a retail environment. The position requires frequent physical activity including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing. Employees are regularly required to talk and hear.
