Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair.
- Engage with customers warmly, providing friendly service and answering questions about menu options.
- Follow strict sanitation procedures to ensure a clean work environment and safe food handling practices.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process transactions swiftly and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas in accordance with food safety standards.
- Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and notifying management of low stock levels.
- Uphold food safety management protocols to ensure all products meet health regulations and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse customers.
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures and food safety practices is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate POS systems efficiently and accurately handle cash or card transactions.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform physical tasks involved in food preparation and cleaning.
