Join Our Team as a Sales Associate!
We’re looking for a friendly and motivated multi-task Sales Associate to join our team. If you enjoy helping people, have a passion for sales, and want to be part of a relaxed, easy-going environment, we’d love to hear from you. There is also the possibility of growing this job into a managerial position over time.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Greet customers with a happy demeanor, a smile, and help them find exactly what they’re looking for
- Share your knowledge about our products and offer helpful recommendations
- Occasionally help with unloading trucks and moving furniture around the showroom when our delivery team is out
- Process transactions smoothly and accurately using our computer system
- Keep the store neat and organized, ensuring a pleasant shopping environment
- Suggest additional products to customers and help drive sales in a relaxed, non-pushy way
What We’re Looking For:
- Enthusiasm
- Great time management skills, juggling tasks and staying on top of things comes naturally to you
- A genuine love for helping customers and making them feel welcome
- Basic computer skills and comfort with technology
- Ability to stay busy and productive between customers
- Experience with upselling or willingness to learn techniques to help grow sales
- Accuracy when handling transactions and basic math skills
- MUST be physically fit and capable of occasionally helping to move furniture around the store. Whilst your primary duties will be on the sales floor, candidates do need to be willing to loan a hand where necessary - to help unload in-bound furniture deliveries; to load customer purchases; to move and rearrange floor model displays.
We close on Sundays, so you’ll get that day off to relax! But you will need to work Saturdays. Your schedule would be fixed allowing you to easily plan life's events in advance. We pay via direct deposit on a weekly basis.
