Role Description The Senior Director of Brand/Product Marketing is a full-time, hybrid role based in the New York City Metropolitan Area, with flexibility for partial work from home. This role leads brand positioning and product marketing strategy across the portfolio, translating scientific innovation into clear, differentiated value propositions and messaging for consumers and professional partners. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and executing integrated go-to-market plans, overseeing campaign strategy and creative briefs, and partnering with product development, R&D, and commercial teams to align brand narratives with clinical proof. The Senior Director will manage market research initiatives, analyze performance data, and refine segmentation, targeting, and pricing recommendations to drive growth. The role also includes building sales enablement tools, guiding content and educational materials, mentoring a marketing team, and ensuring brand consistency across all channels and touchpoints.
Qualifications
- Must have deep experience in marketing highly technological skincare innovation and products.
- Position is NYC based with hybrid in-office
- Strong foundation in Market Research, with experience in consumer insights, competitive analysis, and category trend tracking.
- Expertise in Go-to-Market Strategy and Marketing, including launch planning, channel mix optimization, and performance measurement.
- Proficiency in brand and product Messaging, with the ability to translate complex scientific concepts into clear, compelling narratives.
- Experience in Sales Enablement, including development of tools, training assets, and materials that support commercial and field teams.
- Proven leadership in brand or product marketing, ideally within skincare, beauty, life sciences, or health-related consumer products.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, product, sales, finance) and influence senior stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and project management skills, with comfort using data to inform decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience managing agencies or external partners.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field; advanced degree (MBA or similar) is beneficial.
