Sweet Caroline’s Bakery & Café is looking for an enthusiastic and dependable Barista/Cashier to join our team in the Mease Countryside Hospital lobby. If you love coffee, enjoy connecting with customers, and want to work in a fun and fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you!
Position Details:
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Occasional Saturday shifts (10:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
- Pay: Competitive hourly wage (from $15/hr starting) tips averaging $6–$8/hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare a variety of espresso drinks and coffees with our commercial espresso machine
- Upsell and serve pastries, deli items, and hot sandwiches
- Keep the coffee and prep area clean and organized
- Ensure timely, friendly service and accurate order delivery
- Maintain a clean, welcoming café environment
- Provide exceptional customer service and build rapport with regular guests
- Assist with closing duties: cleaning, inventory, and balancing the register
