Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to prepare and serve both basic and more intricate beverages and have excellent customer service with the ability to create an inviting atmosphere for our guests while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including equipment and supplies.
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders, and providing recommendations.
- Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible service.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using Square POS system.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and placing orders as necessary.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and policies to ensure a safe dining experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in bartending preferred; neighborhood bar experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of retail math and basic math skills for accurate cash handling.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy periods.
- Familiarity with beverage preparation methods.
- Understanding of healthy practices to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
