Job Title: Street Sweeper Driver Helper (Overnight)

SCA is seeking a dependable and hardworking Driver Helper to assist with roadside maintenance and litter removal services. This role supports sweeper truck operations by ensuring roadsides remain clean and debris-free. Work will primarily take place at night along interstate routes. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, has a strong attention to detail, and is comfortable performing physical tasks in a fast-paced environment. This position is vital to keeping our service areas clean and safe for the public.

Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the driver with assigned route duties
- Perform roadside litter and trash removal in front of the sweeper truck
- Complete all assigned jobs within the scheduled time frame
- Maintain high standards for cleanliness and quality of work
- Use extra caution during nighttime and inclement weather conditions
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or driver
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working outdoors preferred
- Ability to follow directions and read maps
- Must pass and maintain a drug-free status (pre-employment and random drug screenings)
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. occasionally
- Moderate physical activity including reaching, pushing, pulling, gripping, and grasping
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform frequent walking, bending, and stair climbing
