This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team.
Key Responsibilities as a Yard Worker:
- Light maintenance duties such as washing and cleaning both the exterior and interior of the fleet.
- Cleaning the exterior of the parking lot of the site location.
- Transporting parts as needed.
- Ability to operate a pick-up truck safely.
- Assist shop mechanics when needed
- Immediately report equipment issues, incidents, or safety concerns and accurately complete required logs and paperwork.
- Must pass and maintain drug-free status: employment and random drug tests.
- Ability to operate a pick-up truck safely.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs. occasionally.
- Moderate lifting - no greater than 40 lbs.; moderate reaching, pushing, pulling, gripping, and grasping. No fine manipulation or fine manual dexterity required.
- Ability to stand for a full shift in addition to walking, climbing stairs and bending as required.
- Valid Driver's License - CDL is a plus but not required
