Job Title: Jet Vac Operator
Location: Chattanooga, TNSchedule: Monday through Friday from 7am to 4:30pm
Starting Pay: $21 per hour (based on experience)
Job Summary:
We’re seeking a dependable and hardworking Jet Vac Operator to join our Houston team. In this role, you’ll operate JetVac trucks and other specialized sewer cleaning equipment to provide essential maintenance and cleaning services. As part of a crew, you’ll help clean sewer systems, remove wastewater, and support customer satisfaction while following all safety and operational standards.
This position requires a valid CDL (Class A or B), a strong work ethic, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. If you're reliable, safety-focused, and open to overtime, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Operate JetVac and other sewer cleaning equipment to service catch basins, sewers, and stormwater systems
Drive and operate company trucks safely and in compliance with DOT regulations
Perform sewer cleaning duties as part of a crew, including pulling hoses and managing flow control
Accurately complete required paperwork and documentation for each job
Communicate clearly with customers and respond to their service needs
Report changes in scope of work, project issues, or customer concerns to the office promptly
Troubleshoot equipment and perform basic repairs or coordinate service as needed
Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times
Take on additional duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
Valid CDL Class A or B with Tanker and Air Brake endorsements
Clean driving record and current DOT Medical Card
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and pull hoses up to 500 feet
Strong working knowledge of DOT safety regulations and requirements
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
Willingness to work overtime and travel out of town as needed
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Physically capable of standing for long periods, climbing stairs, bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling
Comfortable working in environments that include exposure to moving parts, wet/humid conditions, confined spaces, noise, fumes, and potential exposure to bodily fluids or waste
