Audit Associate
As trusted advisors and dedicated partners, our highly motivated audit associates work with other team members to provide closely held companies and high net worth individuals with a full range of services (including audits, reviews, compilations, bookkeeping, and consulting) that meet their present needs and help them secure a prosperous future. They also represent Sweeney Conrad in the community and develop referral relationships with professionals in related industries.
Essential duties will include:
- Gaining a understanding of the client’s business operations, industry, and internal control systems to assess risk
- Assisting in the creation of the audit plan based on the identified risks, ensuring compliance with auditing standards and regulations
- Collaborating with other team members, including senior auditors, audit managers, and partners, to ensure that the audit progresses efficiently and in compliance with standards
- Assisting in the preparation of the audit report, which includes an opinion on the financial statements, any identified weaknesses, and recommendations for improvement
The successful candidate will have:
- BA/BS in accounting
- CPA eligible
- A desire to be challenged and for career advancement in a rapidly growing leading firm
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
For employees working 20 or more hours per week, Sweeney Conrad offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes employer-sponsored medical, dental, and vision premiums for the employee with an employee cost-share for dependent coverage; Health Care and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts; and employer-paid life and disability insurance. Sweeney Conrad also provides paid time off (PTO) and 11 paid holidays. PTO and holiday accrual are pro-rated for employees working less than 40 hours per week.

Salary : $78,250 - $95,000
