Telemetry Technician - Cardiac Progressive Care

**Description** Responsible for performing general secretarial and clerical duties in the patient care areas. Interacts with patients, families and physicians and acts as a liaison among members of the health care team, patients and families. Assists the nursing staff in coordinating the activity of the unit. Oversees the orderliness of work areas and orders forms and other clerical supplies. Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Individuals hired with previous monitor technician experience must pass a challenge exam with a score of 80%. 1 year Experience in related healthcare setting in a clinical, clerical or service capacity i.e. monitor technician, hospital unit coordinator, nurse aid certified, medical assistant, license practical nurse, medical records clerk, food service or environmental services worker.
