You must be…
- Able to travel, typically within the state of WI
- 18 years of age or older
- A high school graduate or GED equivalent
- Able to pass drug tests as well as pass occasional background checks to get on government jobs
- A current and valid driver's license holder
- Able to lift up to 80 pounds
- Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, pitched roofs and buildings/structures of all heights
- Honest, hardworking and enjoy working outdoors
- Construction experience is a plus
What to expect:
- We typically work four 10hr shifts Mon-Thu, so you’ll almost always have a 3-day weekend
- We are members of IBEW Local 158 that provides great wages, insurance and pension. You will be expected to stay current on your union dues
- May be layoffs during winter months, January through March
- We will provide on-the-job training
- You will complete installation of lightning protection in accordance with shop drawings and current code requirements
- Hourly pay depending on experience. Pay increases with every passed LPI test (Journeyman #1 & #2, Master Installer #1 & #2, Master Installer Designer). Candidates who have any of these certifications will start at a much higher rate
