Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Personal Care Attendant to provide support to two individuals in a residential home setting. The Personal Care Attendant will assist with daily living activities, help maintain a safe and comfortable environment, and support clients in maintaining their independence and quality of life.
Duties
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and other activities of daily living.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
- Assist with medication reminders as directed.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and community outings as needed.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, cleaning, and organizing common areas.
- Monitor clients' well-being and report any changes in condition to the appropriate party.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of services provided and any notable observations.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to assist with lifting, transferring, and mobility support as needed.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform light housekeeping duties.
Work Environment
Residential home setting providing care and support to two individuals.
Requirements
- Previous caregiving, personal care, or direct support experience preferred but not required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Must be at least 18 years of age
