We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Day Shift Manager to lead our cleaning teams during daytime hours. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, supervise staff, ensure quality standards are met, and promote a safe and efficient work environment. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate cleaning crews to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks across multiple sites
- Monitor cleaning quality, adherence to safety protocols, and compliance with company standards
- Provide training, guidance, and support to team members to enhance performance and professional growth
- Schedule shifts, manage attendance, and address staffing needs promptly
- Conduct regular inspections of work sites
- Handle client inquiries or concerns professionally while maintaining positive relationships
- Ensure proper use of cleaning equipment and supplies, including commercial cleaning tools
- Manages inventory, checks shipments, and places orders
- Oversee equipment and vehicle maintenance
Qualifications
- Proven supervising or management experience in cleaning, custodial, or hospitality environments
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative atmosphere
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques such as janitorial services and commercial cleaning standards
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with team members and clients
- Physical stamina to perform inspections, oversee daily operations and occasionally assist your teams with their janitorial tasks
