Experiential | Environmental Graphic Designer

We are seeking a Graphic Designer to join our creative team as we continue to grow and expand. If you are a passionate, experienced designer pursuing the benefits of a large corporation with the relaxed atmosphere of a small business, Swath Design is for you!
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of design.
- 3 years of experience in environmental | experiential graphic design, wayfinding, signage design, and branded environments in Civic, Corporate, Education, Entertainment, Healthcare, Parks Nature, Retail Residential.
- Exhibit/interpretive design experience is a plus.
- 1 years of Project Management.
- Thorough experience with all aspects of wayfinding projects, including audit, analysis, recommendations, programming and planning, conceptual design and development, and design intent documentation.
- An understanding of space and how people interact with their environments. Experience with messaging, terminology, and scale.
- Produce production artwork and related drawings, ensuring quality through fabrication administration.
- Knowledge of materials and leveraging fabrication input for value engineering.
- Must have experience with ADA, building codes, zoning, construction, and fabrication methods.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, excellent time management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks. Must be a team player with attention to detail.
- High proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and CADtools.
- SketchUp is a plus.
- Experience with word processing programs such as Microsoft Word and Pages.
- Experience with FileMaker and InDesign is a plus.
