Job Description

The District Manager is responsible for achieving optimum financial results for the district by maximizing top-line sales potential and ensuring superior service to our customers. This position manages the sales plans and objectives, overall merchandising, operations, training and employee development.

**Must be based out of New York City**

Profile

Responsibilities:

• Manage a district with volume of 9 million and supervise approximately 11 stores
• Responsible for the profitability of all stores, increase sales/profits and control store expenses
• Recruitment and retention of top talent
• Focuses on multi-unit management and supervises areas of the store including: customer service, human resources, loss prevention and financial results
• Conduct store visits to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance with company programs and standards
• Think strategically and understand the business
• Ability to communicate with all levels of management
  
  
  

Professional Requirements

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of multi-unit experience in a specialty retail environment
• Proven ability to network, recruit, train, develop and promote quality people and create a team environment
• Proactive and creative problem solving ability
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Energetic, results oriented and competitive with a drive to succeed
• Strong financial acumen and proficient computer skills
• Ability to travel up to 75% is a must
