Position SummaryLead US-based operations to support Swasthgram Global Foundation’s preventive healthcare mission, including SwasthManthan health camps, solar-powered Health Units on Bike, Saksham youth skilling, and Shudhvayu clean air programs. Oversee donor relations, compliance, grant management, and coordination with India field teams to ensure efficient scaling of global operations funded by US donors (especially the Indian diaspora).
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day US operations, including donor stewardship, impact reporting, and coordination of US-funded programs.
- Ensure full US nonprofit compliance: state charitable registrations, IRS rules, Expenditure Responsibility / Equivalency Determination for international grants, Form 990 reporting, and alignment with India’s FCRA requirements.
- Support fundraising by providing operational data, success stories, donor visit logistics, and program budgets for proposals targeting Indian diaspora and US philanthropists.
- Oversee grant administration, financial tracking, and timely utilization reports for US-raised funds flowing to India programs.
- Build and manage relationships with US partners, fiscal sponsors (if applicable), vendors, and diaspora networks.
- Implement monitoring & evaluation systems to track health impact and demonstrate results to US donors.
- Coordinate logistics for US events, donor trips to India, and cross-border program alignment.
- Optimize processes, technology use (e.g., digital reporting tools), and resource efficiency across US-India operations.
- Lead small US-based team or contractors while collaborating closely with India operations leadership.
- 8 years of operations or program management experience in nonprofits, global health, or international development (US-based preferred).
- Strong knowledge of US nonprofit compliance and cross-border giving (IRS 501(c)(3), state registrations, FCRA).
- Proven ability to manage grants, budgets, reporting, and remote international teams.
- Experience engaging Indian diaspora donors or India-focused causes is a strong plus.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in Nonprofit Management, Public Health, Business, or related field preferred.
- Willingness to travel (10-20%, including to rural India sites); cultural fluency and passion for preventive healthcare essential.
